Entre médium et performance (Naima, 2017), Térésa Faucon discusses in this interview the film by Pascal Baes presented in the exhibition: Topic I and II (16mm, 13’, 1989). She focuses on the way in which the various techniques of time manipulation that are employed in the film, from stop-motion animation to long exposure, transform the bodies of the actors and the temporality of their gestures and movements.
